The Army doesn't talk about them much. Officially it's the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta. To most people it's Delta Force, and to the guys in it, it's just "The Unit." These five carry the Delta dagger on their sleeves, wear the beards and ball caps the Unit is known for, and come with enough gear to stock a whole armory.

The story behind the dagger

  • Built from the SAS playbook. Colonel Charlie Beckwith served with Britain's Special Air Service in the 1960s and came home convinced the Army needed its own version. He spent years pushing for it, and in 1977 Delta Force was born.
  • The best of the best, then tested. Most operators come from Army Special Forces and the 75th Ranger Regiment. Then comes selection, weeks of solo land navigation through the mountains with a heavy ruck, ending in a march so long it's simply called "The Long Walk." Most who try don't make it.
  • Over four decades of hard missions. From the hostage rescue attempt at Desert One in 1980, to the streets of Mogadishu in 1993 made famous by Black Hawk Down, to the long campaigns that followed, Delta has been the team the Army sends when the job can't fail.

The details that make them Delta

  • The Delta dagger. A red arrowhead with an upright dagger on the left sleeve. The arrowhead shape traces back through Army Special Forces to the WWII Devil's Brigade, whose red spearhead patch came first.
  • Flags where they belong. An American flag on the right sleeve and another on the chest.
  • Blood type on the back. An "A+" patch, so a medic knows at a glance.
  • Printed kit head to toe. Multicam-style camo, magazine pouches, a knife sheath on the thigh, knee pads, and gloved hands like the real operators wear.

What's in the pack

  • Five operators, five personalities. Every fig gets its own head, from a scarred, bearded vet to a grinning guy in aviators, so no two look alike.
  • Kit for the whole team. Ball caps and helmets, plate carriers, backpacks and belts, plus a comms headset for your team leader.
  • Machine guns. M60, M240B, M249 SAW and RPD, with bipods, ammo boxes and a drum.
  • Carbines. Tan M4A1 and HK416-style carbines with ACOG and long-range scopes, a Mk 18, and a short-barrel carbine with a holo sight.
  • Shotguns. AA-12 with drum, Striker, KSG-style bullpup, and a pump-action trench gun.
  • Sidearms. Glock-style pistols (one with a light), M9, P226-style, 1911, and revolvers, including a big-bore with a red dot.
  • Blades and breaching. Bolt cutters, an E-tool spade, a hatchet, an ice axe, a machete, a kukri, combat knives and batons.
  • Field gear. Frag grenades, a flashbang, a handheld radio, a rugged laptop, flashlights, a spare bipod and handcuffs.

Why builders like it

  • Real unit details, not a generic soldier. The dagger, the beards, the caps. These read as Delta from across the room.
  • Pairs with our 75th Rangers. A lot of Delta operators started out as Rangers, so the two packs make a natural team on the shelf.
  • A spare armory, built in. There's way more gear than five operators can carry, so the extras are ready for your other squads or a weapon rack.
  • It fits your collection. Standard bodies, so every figure and every piece of gear swaps with the minifigures you already own.

How much is shipping?
