Short, suppressed and kitted out the way modern operators run them, the HK416 is the rifle tier one teams reached for when the M4 wasn't enough. This one comes set up like a Navy SEAL's: a red dot and laser-light on a mount, an angled foregrip and a suppressor on the end, all built right in. Hand one to every fig in the platoon and they're ready to move out tonight.
Resin printed, so handle with care
This HK416 is resin printed, not injection molded like most brick parts. That's how it gets such sharp, tiny details like the handguard slots and the optic mount. The trade is that resin is softer and more fragile than regular plastic.
Go easy when you press it into a fig's hand, and don't bend or force the thin parts like the suppressor, optic mount and stock. Treat it like a model kit and it'll look great for years.
The story behind the HK416
- An M4 rebuilt from the inside. In the early 2000s, Heckler & Koch in Germany set out to fix the M4's biggest headache. They kept the familiar shape and controls but swapped the guts for a gas piston system, borrowed from their G36 rifle. The name nods to both the M4 and the M16.
- Built with Delta. H&K worked closely with the U.S. Army's Delta Force while developing it, and Delta was among the first to field it in the mid-2000s.
- The SEAL connection. The Navy's special warfare teams picked it up too, and the HK416 with a suppressor and a red dot became one of the most recognizable looks of modern special operations.
- Now it's everywhere. Norway made it their standard rifle in 2007, the U.S. Marines adopted a version of it as the M27, and France chose it to replace their famous FAMAS.
Why builders like it
- The modern operator look. Red dot, laser-light, angled grip, suppressor. It's the setup collectors picture when they think of special forces today.
- Arm the whole platoon. At this price you can give every fig on the team the same rifle and still have money left for the next pack.
- Ready out of the bag. The gear is built in, so there's nothing to attach or lose. Hand it over and your fig is good to go.
